New HomeFinding the right home for each dog takes time.

Daisy

5th November 2025

***Daisy is making good progress***

Many of you will have been following Daisy's journey. She is currently in foster care and has adapted remarkably well. So we are now ready to look for a forever home for this special girl.

Daisy has had an MRI scan with the Royal Veterinary College, which revealed some brain underdevelopment. This is a permanent, but non-progressive, condition. She has had two episodes of seizures in her first year, and all the medication relating to this will be fully funded for life.

Daisy enjoys the company of dogs and people. Everyone who meets her falls in love with her. She can play for ages with another dog, but can sometimes pester too much for play. However, with time and patience this settles down. That said, Daisy still needs some guidance around house training. Also, if bored, she will find her own entertainment: counter surfing to find things to steal is a favourite.

Daisy needs a situation where someone is at home to dedicate time to her. Someone who enjoys long walks, training and who is able to provide this enthusiastic young dog with all the enrichment she needs to help her grow and settle.

Potential adopters must be prepared to meet Daisy several times, which may involve travelling some distance.
