Annie

Meet Annie.

Annie is a sweet and loving golden retriever who is ready to find her forever home. At just 3 years old, she has a lot of energy and love to give. Annie is great with everyone she meets and enjoys being around people. She is wonderful out on the lead and has good recall, making her a joy to take on walks or outdoor adventures. She is happy to say ‘hello’ to other dogs but will come away when called. She has been spayed and is up to date with her vaccinations.

Annie can get anxious when her gentleman owner goes to leave the house or even go upstairs without Annie, resulting in jumping and mouthing him. This behaviour will need work and training to overcome. Annie has also shown some resource guarding over toys and will need someone with experience that knows, or is willing to learn, how to manage this.

Annie needs a loving, experienced owner who can dedicate time to her training, especially to address her jumping and mouthing. She would do best in a home where her new owner can provide structure and routine. She needs someone who will be at home during the day and no children under the age of 12 in the household.  Annie would prefer to be in a cat free environment.

She is based in Sussex and potential adopters must be prepared to travel.
