Welcome to Southern Golden Retriever Rescue
We are a Charity dedicated to helping Golden Retrievers who for whatever reason, need to find a new home.
Bertie - An 18 month old male.
Bertie loves everyone and is a happy, high energy dog that loves cuddles and belly rubs. He is good with other dogs and could possibly live with a similar sized dog.
He enjoys his walks, although can sometimes pull on the lead and will need some training around this. He has shown some resource guarding but will swap out for a toy or a treat.
Bertie can jump and mouth but is beginning to respond to being redirected to a toy. He will need a confident owner prepared to give him the time to teach him some manners.
SGRR has again been nominated for the Petplan Animal Charity of the Year Award.
