Louis

Louis is an energetic, eight month old Golden Retriever boy who, through no fault of his own, is looking for an experienced and loving home. 

We feel he should join a household with no other dog please. Louis is friendly towards other dogs, adores people and loves his cuddles. But, at eight months and 30kg, he is also strong and playful, so would benefit from one-to-one attention without the distraction of another resident dog. 

His new owners would need to have experience of nurturing a young lively lad into adulthood, and be prepared to commit to ongoing training. The groundwork has been done but (like any eight month old retriever) this beautiful boy now needs clear rules and boundaries –  as well as lots of outdoor fun and enrichment. The right home will be rewarded with a loving lifelong companion. 

Louis is not suited to being left alone for more than a couple of hours so home workers or mostly retired adopters may be a good match.

Children should be over age 13 

He can live with a cat

He is not castrated

He is vaccinated

He has no known health issues
