New HomeFinding the right home for each dog takes time.

Amy

Amy is now Reserved

Amy is a beautiful, fun-loving one-year-old Golden Retriever girl who is looking for a very special home.

She is still very much a youngster and deserves the opportunity to enjoy everything life has to offer. Amy would love to explore the world, attend training classes and socialise with other dogs. She is a wonderfully sociable character, great fun to be around and absolutely loves the company of other dogs.

Amy could happily join a home with another suitable dog. She has not lived with cats, and we feel she would be best suited to a family where any children are aged eight and above.

Amy was born with poorly formed hips. However, you would never know it to look at her! She is currently moving freely, enjoying life to the full and requires no medication at present. Long may that continue.

Southern Golden Retriever Rescue will support Amy with her veterinary needs relating to her hips throughout her life, working alongside our veterinary team based in Kent.

What Amy needs now is a very special family — adopters who have the time, patience and commitment to work closely with us and give her the very best quality of life possible. An understanding of orthopaedic conditions would be helpful, but above all, we are looking for people who will embrace Amy for the wonderful, happy young girl she is and give her every opportunity to simply be a dog and enjoy life.

Easy access to our support and veterinary care in mid-Kent would be a considerable advantage.

Amy has so much love, fun and companionship to offer the right family. Could you give this gorgeous girl the special home and wonderful life she deserves?

Could you be Amy's perfect match?
