Cooper

September 16th, 2021

Thank you to all those who contacted us about Cooper. He now has a new home but we are receiving requests for assistance for dogs with a  similar profile.

Knowledge of guarding behaviour would be very helpful to us. If you have that sort of experience, please apply

We have found Cooper a super home. Our thanks to everyone who expressed an interest in him and we encourage you to still contact us because we are receiving several requests to help dogs with similar behaviours

Cooper still needs a home. The habits that I am referring to include guarding behaviours that need to be spotted and managed. We are seeking people who have seen this before and are capable of helping Cooper. He could go to a home with another dog but there needs to be a clear plan how to manage a young independent dog with his background.

One man and his dog…

That picture is what I feel may suit a young dog called Cooper who needs a new home.

He is a super chap, a bit of a loner and he has acquired some habits that needs a confident, kind experienced owner to help him.

Cooper is 11 months old and has been castrated. He is a healthy youngster needing time to mature.

We think he is better placed in a home without another dog at the moment but he is full of play with other dogs. He has not lived with a cat or small animals.

We are seeking a small household without children. He will benefit from joining a regular training class. He absolutely loves water including garden ponds!

If you would like to know more about Cooper please call Rachel on 01474 815486 or email Rachel.clark@sgrr.org.uk.

He is in foster care in Kent and several long visits will be required in order to get to know Cooper.
