What we do

Southern Golden Retriever Rescue is one of a number of organisations in the United Kingdom devoted to the welfare of Golden Retrievers. Our area of operation is the south-east of England.

Go to our links page for information on rescue organisations in other parts of the country.

Most of our work relates to Golden Retrievers who have been abandoned or unwanted or the dogs can no longer be cared for in their present homes. Our objective in these cases is to re-home the Golden Retrievers to ensure their future well being and, where possible, to keep in contact with them for the duration of their lives.

Can you offer a home to a Golden Retriever? If so, please go to our adoption and fostering page.

See our latest newsletters for some of our previous success stories.

We also try to help members of the public who own or who wish to own a Golden Retriever by giving them information on all aspects of their care and well-being. Click here for answers to frequently asked questions about the care of Golden Retrievers.
